Mathew Russell

Mathew brings 28 years of expertise in the marine energy industry.

His career began at BP and then onto Shell, where he served on oil and gas vessels before transitioning to Shell’s Marine Assurance department in 2012.

In 2014, Mathew joined SPT (now STSMS) as a project engineer. His successful project deliveries in Tianjin, Kuwait, Indonesia, and Jordan led to his advancement to Head of Assurance. In this role, he managed the implementation of FSU projects in Jamaica, transhipment hubs in Norway, and FSRU projects in Egypt.

Mathew's proficiency in risk mitigation and planning has been pivotal in establishing STSMS as the FIRST choice service provider.
