Ian Stephenson

Ian is the Customer Solutions Manager at STS Marine Solutions and has been part of the team since 2017. A qualified Marine Engineer, Ian began his career with Shell in the LNG sector before moving into oil and gas production on offshore platforms in the North Sea and onshore facilities in Iraq. He has held senior roles, including Head of Engineering on offshore production platforms, and served as an Engineering Officer on LNG tankers.

At STSMS, Ian has successfully managed numerous LNG Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfers, including the launch of new operational bases and commissioning of LNG STS equipment. In addition to overseeing client project delivery, Ian is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and reliability of LNG STS equipment across operations.
