You will bring:

• Proven hands-on maintenance experience within a mechanical, marine, offshore, industrial or heavy equipment environment.
• Strong practical skills and confidence working with large equipment, hoses, fenders, chains, shackles, rigging and associated hardware.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving equipment issues before they become operational problems.
• The ability to work independently while travelling and managing your own workload.
• Excellent attention to detail when inspecting equipment, reporting defects and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues, suppliers, agents and client representatives across different locations.
• A commitment to safety, quality and professional standards.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice, to support operational requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our technical team, you'll be responsible for helping ensure our equipment remains safe, serviceable and ready for operations worldwide.

Your role will include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on marine fenders, hoses and associated equipment.
• Conducting inspections, testing and condition assessments.
• Supporting stock control and equipment readiness across worldwide bases.
• Identifying defects and recommending maintenance actions.
• Completing maintenance reports, inspection records and technical documentation.
• Assisting with lifting equipment inspections and certification activities.
• Supporting equipment mobilisation, logistics and maintenance campaigns.
• Working closely with international base personnel to maintain high operational standards.
• What Will Make You Stand Out

While not essential, we'd particularly like to hear from candidates with:

• A formal qualification in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, maintenance, fabrication or a related discipline.
• Experience in ship-to-ship operations, offshore operations or marine equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
• Lifting equipment inspection or certification experience.
• Experience working within ports, terminals, shipping or marine logistics environments.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as OCIMF and SIGTTO guidance.

Working days away from home are limited to 220 days per year, with any additional days subject to separate agreement.
