We are seeking an experienced and motivated LNG Superintendent to join our Operations team and support the safe and efficient delivery of LNG operations across a global portfolio of projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically capable marine professional with LNG expertise who enjoys working in dynamic operational environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, coordination and execution of LNG transfer operations, terminal management activities and project support assignments worldwide.

The Role

As LNG Superintendent, you will provide technical leadership and operational oversight across LNG projects, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures, client requirements and applicable regulations.

Working closely with operational teams, clients and terminal stakeholders, you will support project mobilisation, operational planning, technical assessments and on-site project execution.

Key Responsibilities

·       Plan, document and perform LNG operations in line with company procedures, client requirements and regulatory obligations.

·       Prepare job planning Orders and carry out optimoor analysis to support safe and effective operational execution.

·       Support existing LNG projects and agreements, including operational planning, technical coordination and client liaison.

·       Deploy to LNG projects on rotation as required and perform the Terminal Manager role where assigned.

·       Liaise with POAC’s and support ship and port compatibility assessments, port inspections and operational readiness activities.

·       Manage assigned project activities in compliance with local regulatory requirements, company policies and recognised industry standards.

·       Contribute to the development and revision of operational, emergency, maintenance and terminal-related procedures.

·       Support customer queries, reporting requirements and broader LNG business needs as required.

·       Maintain high standards of safety, environmental compliance and operational discipline across all activities.

·       Assist with mobilisation planning, documentation control and post-operation reporting to support effective project delivery.

Essential Requirements

·       STCW Certificate of Competency II/2 or III/3, or equivalent marine qualification.

·       Minimum of 2 years' sailing experience as a Senior Deck Officer or Engineer Officer.

·       Minimum of 2 years' LNG experience gained within the last 5 years.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

·       Ability to work independently and under pressure in challenging operational environments

Desirable Experience

·       Degree or additional technical qualification in marine, LNG, terminal operations or a related discipline.

·       Project management, terminal operations or LNG-related certifications.

·       Experience supporting proposals, contract development and budgeting activities.

·       Experience with KLAW and/or MannTek LNG transfer systems and associated equipment.

·       Experience in LNG transfer equipment inspection, maintenance and asset management.

·       Experience supporting ship-to-ship (STS) equipment maintenance programmes and maintenance planning

·       Knowledge of LNG transfer hose systems, emergency release couplings and associated transfer equipment.
